This policy explains what personal data Federal Consolidated (“we”) collects when you use Grabcam, why, who processes it for us, and what you can do about it. We don't sell your personal data, and we don't show ads.
What we collect
Account data
Your email address, username, and password. We store only a hash of your password, never the password itself. Your email is private: we don't show it to other users.
Profile and content (public)
Your name, headline, location, website, bio, and photo if you add them, and the parts, files, setups, and photos you upload. This information is public on your profile and on the parts you share.
Activity
Your likes, bookmarks, reports, and downloads, so the site can show them to you and count downloads.
Technical data
- IP address, used to limit abuse (for example too many signups from one network). We keep these rate-limit records for up to 24 hours. Our hosting provider also keeps short-term server logs.
- Bot protection signals from your browser when you sign up or reset a password, to tell people from automated scripts.
- Analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
Why we use your data
- To run your account and show your content (to provide the service you asked for).
- To send account emails: email confirmation, password resets, and notices when someone adds a setup to your part.
- To send occasional product news about Grabcam. Every such email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep Grabcam secure and to stop spam and abuse (our legitimate interest).
- To meet legal obligations, for example copyright notices.
Who processes data for us
- Supabase — database, sign-in, and file storage (United States).
- Vercel — hosting, analytics, and bot protection (United States and worldwide edge network).
- Resend — sending email (United States).
These providers process data only on our instructions. Your data may be stored and processed in the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data and content until you delete them. When you delete your account in Settings, we delete your account, profile, parts, setups, and uploaded files right away, and remove you from our mailing list. Backups held by our providers are deleted on their normal schedule. Files that other people already downloaded are outside our control.
Your rights
You can see and change your profile in Settings, download your own files from your parts, and delete your account at any time. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK, or California), you may also have the right to get a copy of your data, to correct it, to object to some uses, and to complain to a data protection authority. To use these rights, email support@grabcam.net.
Children
Grabcam is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy in an important way, we tell you by email or on the site before the change takes effect.
