These terms are an agreement between you and Federal Consolidated (“we”, “us”), which runs Grabcam at grabcam.net (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. Who can use Grabcam
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you use Grabcam for a company, you agree to these terms for that company too.
2. Your account
- Give a real email address and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person, one account. Don't create accounts with automated tools.
- Tell us at support@grabcam.net if you think someone else used your account.
3. Your content
“Content” means the parts, files, setups, photos, text, and profile information you put on Grabcam.
- You keep ownership of your content.
- You give us a license to store, copy, process, and show your content, and to make it available for download, so the Service works. This license is worldwide, free, and ends when you delete the content, except for copies that other people already downloaded and backups that we delete on a normal schedule.
- Other people get the license you choose. Each part shows a license (for example CC BY 4.0). When others download your content, they may use it under that license. A setup that you add to someone else's part uses the license of that part.
- You promise that you have the right to share your content under that license, and that it doesn't break any law or anyone else's rights, including copyrights, trade secrets, confidentiality agreements with an employer or customer, and export control laws.
- Public content is visible to everyone, including people who are not signed in.
4. Rules
Follow our community guidelines. Don't use Grabcam to break the law, to upload malware, to spam, to harass people, to collect other users' data, or to interfere with the Service (for example by scraping at a rate that harms it or by testing its security without permission). We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Copyright complaints
We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement as described in our copyright policy, and we close the accounts of repeat infringers.
6. Safety — read this
CNC machines can cause serious injury, death, and damage. Setups, CAM files, G-code, feeds, speeds, and other content on Grabcam come from users. We don't check them, and they may be wrong for your machine, controller, post processor, tooling, workholding, or material. Before you run anything, check the program, tool lengths, offsets, and clearances yourself, and prove it out carefully. You use all content at your own risk.
7. No warranty
The Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't promise that the Service will always be available or free of errors, or that files will be kept forever. Keep your own copies of your files.
8. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Federal Consolidated is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, tools, materials, machine damage, or injury that results from using the Service or any content on it. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to US $100.
9. Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content or because you broke these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. Sections 3 (for content already downloaded), 6, 7, 8, and 9 continue after your account ends.
11. Changes
We may change the Service and these terms. If a change is important, we tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. If you continue to use Grabcam after a change, you accept the new terms.
